If you know me at all you know that Storm at Sea is my favorite quilt pattern. This is a really cool variation on the traditional pattern. This quilt is not the easiest to piece. There are a lot of points to match. So I would like you to have the quilt cut out before the class so we can work on our piecing. This quilt pattern comes in a queen or lap size. We also have kits made up for this or we can help you pick fabrics to make it your own.

List of Supplies for Octagonal One Block Wonders Basics and Construction Class
This class is good for advanced beginning quilters and up. If you have made a basic “snowball” quilt block, you can make this quilt block. You do not need to have made any One Block Wonders quilts before trying an octagonal OBW. Participants can expect to learn to cut, layer, pin, and slice the elements for octagonal OBW blocks as featured in Maxine Rosethal’s first OBW book. Some students may get enough blocks constructed to begin playing with design on a design wall.
